Material
Hermes Clemence
Commonly known as TC leather, it is taken from cowhide over a one year period. It is one of the most popular leathers from Hermes.
The texture is rather similar to Togo leather, the difference being it’s more delicate than Togo. It has a higher oil content and is much softer, so it has a slight sagging feel.
Avoid placing it onto any water surface, and it will provide the user a longer term use.
The original thickness of the leather is 4mm, before it’s reduced to 0.5mm thickness to make a fully-covered mobile phone case. Stretching the edge of the leather, the texture will be rather smooth, so some of the feel will be missing.
Therefore, over time and use the touch feel will become softer and warmer.
